#4. Establish a personal system using manila folders and labels. Label a folder personal and put in your important documents such as passports, diplomas. Keep a folder for credit card bills, bank statements, taxes, insurance and work documents. A system puts you in control of your life.

On 2nd January 2008, Heal has 25 UK cyclists flying to Hyderabad to take part in Cycle India. This is Heal’s biggest fundraising effort to date with the hope that we will raise in the region of £100,000 which will go towards building a new school project in Andhra Pradesh.

Heal is a UK registered charity which raises money for helping orphaned and underprivileged children escape from poverty in this region of India. I am passionate about Heal as virtually all the money we raise goes directly to helping these kids, as the charity has virtually no administration costs with no paid staff.
So far, Cycle India has already raised over £75,000 and we hope the final total will be over £100,000! With this revenue, which is a massive amount for a small charity, HEAL intends to invest in a new project, such as a new school or further Children’s Village.

Can’t really explain why - but something about reminds me of Monday Morning sales meetings in my early days as a young / rookie Double Glazing salesman. I was fortunate enough to have a sales manager (Keith Revel) who seemed to have this remarkable ability to get us to reach deep down inside ourselves and find some latent talent that we never knew we had - which allowed us to better and better our sales results every week.

This one really surprised me - Dean Hunt made a post at Streetlessons.com - which was “just” an image of an unusual clock - a Clock for Nerds as Dean put it.
If I am honest - it was for want of a better word a “filler” post.
But the thing is, that single post has brought over 25000 visitors to Streetlessons.com in just 12 hrs yesterday - such is the power of DIGG etc
Just goes to show - you can never predict what will catch peoples imagination - or put another way - one should not allow ones own lack of Intellect to stand in the way of a GREAT POST!
