Randy Pausch, Dying 47-year-old Professor gives Exuberant Last Lecture | Must Watch Video

I have just watched this video - Watch it - you will be glad you did.

Personal Note: I like to think I’m a tough guy but at the end of this video there was the glisten of a tear in my eye - but not with sadness - it was with immense pride and gratefullness to share my time on Earth with people of the calibre of Randy Pausch

Here are some quotes from the Randy Pausch Transcript - and this quote from the transcript impressed me most of all:

“If I don’t seem as depressed or morose as I should be, sorry to disappoint you.”

And Randy Pausch has some amazing things to say about Childhood Dreams:

“Almost all of us have childhood dreams; for example, being an astronaut, or making movies or video games for a living. Sadly, most people don�t achieve theirs, and I think that�s a shame. I had several specific childhood dreams, and I�ve actually achieved most of them. More importantly, I have found ways, in particular the creation (with Don Marinelli), of CMU�s Entertainment Technology Center of helping many young people actually Achieve their childhood dreams.”
