As some of you may know, I am a member of Yanik Silvers Mastermind Group (Highly recommended) - which means several trips to the USA each year.
I always enjoy my trips across the pond and in particular the feedback and inspiration that being a member of such a Mastermind group delivers. The group really is a very clever and inspired bunch of people. The benefits in terms of business ideas, joint ventures, insight and business clarity cannot in my opinion be over stated.
So if you ever get a chance to join any type of Mastermind Group, be that a group of local business people or salespeople or one of the growing number of Mastermind groups being put together by leading Internet Gurus (I hate that word) then I highly recommend you consider it.
You know what they say, two minds are better than one - but frankly 16 or 18 minds is better still - Well, as long as it is not a committee
Anyway, the real purpose of this posting.
One of the attractions for me joining Yanik’s Mastermind Group was the opportunity to do a little “adventure” side trip at the end of one of our Mastermind Meetings (Entirely optional - not everyone did it)
So on my last trip to the States on the 20th January, myself and my son, Michael joined Yanik, other members of the Mastermind Group and some friends of Yanik ( Rich Schefren, Tom Bell and Mike Filsaime included) on what was to be the most amazing trip of a lifetime in a Zero G Flight.
So what is a Zero G Flight?
Well, put very basically it is an opportunity to experience Weightless Flight (Just like an Astronaut)
The providers of this Experience are a company called Zero Gravity Corporation and they are I believe the first company to offer a commercial Weightless Flight termed The ZERO-G Experience™. These are the same types of flights used by NASA to train their astronauts and used by Ron Howard in the filming of Apollo 13.
Those of us who complete this “mission” become Zeronauts
To find out more about the whole experience please see Yaniks posting here: Zero G experience
Yanik rather nicely refers to the aircraft by its other well know name of the Vomit Comet. (But Yanik did not Puke!)
and for more all round info check out this article at USAToday
The following video can only give the most basic representation of what we experienced - in it you can see Yanik “Superman” Silver quite clearly and approx one third of the way in, my son Michael comes sliding into view.
If you ever get a chance to do anything like this, I highly recommend it
And here is a Photo of Michael and I Pre-Flight
